Branch funds and member volunteers help coordinate the well-attended candidate forum each biennium.

Mahonia Hall Tours

Salem branch members serve as tour guides at the governor’s Tudor residence built in 1924 by Ellis Lawrence, founder of the University of Oregon School of Architecture. 533 Lincoln St S. To arrange a tour on a Thursday at 1pm for your group, contact Sally Hollemon

Salem Speaks UP!

Each December branch members volunteer to host this annual community discussion focused on human rights and discrimination experiences and issues.  We are a part of a coalition of community organizations that host this event on December 10th РHuman Rights Day.

Salem Peace Lecture

Branch funds help secure a high profile speaker to address human rights issues each October.

Discover Pink Walk

Members have participated in this event yearly. The walk raises money for local women to receive breast exams for the prevention of breast cancer.
